About Tony Wayne Wolcott

   

Tony Wayne Wolcott is a Consulting Arborist, a Board Certified Master Arborist, an Irrigation Consultant, a tree expert witness in litigation for a well known legal firm, and an arboriculture and horticulture instructor in a local college.


Tony has a varied and expansive history in the green industry. He owned a landscaping company.  He does landscaping and irrigation designs. He has extensive consulting experience for construction projects and inspecting trees throughout the San Francisco Bay area and properties in the Sierra foothills. He has testified in various depositions involving tree disputes. He has taught the arboriculture classes at Diablo Valley College as well as classes in irrigation at Mt. Diablo Adult Education. Tony has spoken at various conferences and has written many articles on trees and landscapes, irrigation and wood properties.

In San Francisco, he worked for the Friends of the Urban Forest as the project manager. He helped form and directed the early years of the Urban Tree Foundation. He was the acting urban forester for the City of San Francisco and then urban forester for the City of Albany. He was the tree representative and tree expert in claims against the two cities. He lobbied for tree issues at departmental meetings and represented the cities at many depositions involving city trees. Tony sat on various tree boards including the California Urban Forest Council.
